Hello, I have a ResMed S9 with H5i Humidifier and Climate Lined Tube and it use to work great. When I first started using this system 5 years ago, a single humidifier tub of distilled water would last 8+ hours at the lowest setting of 60. Over the past few months, the tub runs out of water within 4-5 hours and it seems the humidifier is running at a much higher level blowing hot air causing me to wake with a dry mouth. I replaced the climate lined tube thinking the sensor was not working but it didn't help.
Is there anything else I can do? Does the system need to be tested/calibrated/fixed by the manufacturer or by the CPAP supply company I purchased it from? Has anyone else had this problem?

Howdy! Running the water reservoir dry quickly? Dry mouth? Do you monitor your leak rate via the tools provided by ResMed? The feedback from:
https://myair.resmed.com/ may prove valuable. Not only does this feedback track your AHI but also your L/Min (leaks per minute). A leaking mask may very well be the reason as I have gone through this situation myself. I don't have the exact machine you do nor the same humidifier and tubing but my water reservoir ran dry in a few hours and I had terrible dry mouth until I fixed the leaking issue. If you do monitor through myair, what is your normal L/Min value?
I agree with wiredgeorge that you may want to look into leaks. I would also contact the CPAP supply company you used to see if they can check your machine for issues.
