Exhalation with my unit has become too difficult to use. I have tried ALL the different FLEX settings (all two of them) with a setting of 3
without any success. I have had this unit for the last three years and have never encountered this issue before. I own this unit and
have removed its foam. Anyone know what other settings might affect this ? thanks

I think that is it. On a ResMed when you use SleepyHead or OSCAR you can see the actual mask pressure and would be able to tell if it is working. The DreamStation only shows the set point for inhale and exhale pressure, not the actual pressures. It is one of the limitations of a DreamStation. Other things maybe mask related, if the mask is somehow blocking exhale. See the other recent thread on that issue.

well the first thing I tried was a different mask (i have 4 p10's that I rotate through cleaning). Must be the machine failing. I'll lower the pressure to keep going while I buy a new machine...
