Hi All,
my first post, I'm so glad to have stumbled (googled) across this website, so many questions an no answers before. I was keen to see more of the data from my Resmed Airsense 10 but wasn't all that thrilled with the prospect of it going through the "myAir" website.
Thanks so much to Sierra, it was his posts about "Oscar" that has given me access to my own data and with it a much better understanding of my condition and therefore maybe increasing compliance.
My question is simply curiosity - how does the Resmed Machine determine the volume of our snoring?
As I understand it, ResMed originally tried to use microphones to detect snoring but it was not reliable. They now measure the minute flow variations that are characteristic of snoring.
Thanks Sierra, Oscar is a wonderful program and its availability should be pointed out to all users when they first get their pumps rather than having to "trip over" it. I have a much greater understanding and increased confidence in this treatment as a result of downloading it - my 2 cents worth.
