I've been using the SoClean2 for several months now. I got the machine after a friend stayed over and I got to use his travel version on my mask and tube. After a single use, the machine had cleared up the yellow residue in my tube that I always thought was just a normal part of using a CPAP. My machine worked very well and kept my mask and tube free of this residue. I recently changed the filter. I noticed an immediate reduction in the Ozone smell that was being put out during the clean cycle. I contacted SoClean and they said that it was normal and that the machine is working properly and that with use, the ozone smell should dissipate. Jump to a couple of weeks later and I notice that my hose was yellowing. I was able to remove the yellow residue with a brush and soapy water.

What's been your experience with SoClean2? Do you still get the ozone smell after you change the filter? I'm told by the company that as along as I hear the motor running then the machine is working properly but I'm just suspicious that if it were working properly, I wouldn't be getting the yellowing in my tube.

Your comments are appreciated.

Can't imagine what is causing your hose to yellow if you are using distilled water in the tank.
