Does anyone know which website gives the most money for used CPAP equipment?

Long story short, I initially got a prescription from an ENT doc using a home sleep study of 5.2 AHI to get a prescription for an APAP. Got an Air Sense 10 Autoset For Her.

Eventually, a follow-up sleep study and titration study showed that I actually need a BiLevel, instead. I have that now. Sleep doc said they "usually just throw the old machines away" that the patients have. It has just over 1,300 hours.

I see that some sites like SecondWind CPAP and a handful of others buy them. It says you fill out a form to determine what you'd get for it. I listed it on Ebay (forgot to check the rules) and after $200 worth of bids, they pulled it form the site stating that it can't be sold to someone without a prescription. Even though Ebay's history shows that a number of people successfully had a listing up for days and sold it without issue. They pulled mine down.

What site offers the most for them? Also, it has a large square of velcro on the bottom. It's that 10 or 15 pound strength velcro. I left it on because I saw that trying to pull the velcro off makes the label come off. Any ideas?

Second Wind is the only one I am aware of.

In Australia there are used CPAP machines listed by commercial and private vendors in EBay and Gumtree as well as other e-commerce sites. I think the prescription constraints here are only applied within the sleep industry.

Sierra could probably use it and, if not, I'd buy it. If you both contact me we might be able to sort something out.

The last time I checked I don't recall that the US required a prescription for a used machine. However if ebay takes the item down, it is kind of a moot point. Check the CPAP.com and SecondWind sites for prescription requirements. One or the other posts the US regulations.

Are you getting better results with the BiPAP machine? If not, is it a good idea to go with it? Perhaps better to take the BiPAP machine back?
