I am newly diagnosed with sleep apnea, though I have known for years that I have it. I just picked up my Resmed AirSense 10 machine.
Maybe I should be at their own forum, but I didn't find one. But maybe other people here use the same machine.
It has Smart start enabled. However, I have noticed when I am not using it, when I just checked, I felt a slight bit of air coming from the tube. I thought it would be off completely when I'm not in bed. Is this not the case? I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong, and if it is running all the time it's going to wear out? Probably a dumb question. LOL
I believe the supplier will be calling me in the next few days to check how things are going (the guy who "trained" me said they probably would), but I'm too impatient to ask then.
Night one wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. However, night 2 was horrible. I don't think it was fitting quite right. And I hate not being able to sleep on my stomach. Oh well. Hopefully night 3 will be ok.
Thanks for any answers.
