So I am pretty sure I have sleep apnea I have to go get a study and talked to the doctors already they are pretty sure I have at least osa even if I don’t snore typically unless I am on my back.

I am 34 280 pounds six foot and have a medical condition that makes me larger than normal including my tounge. Although I am gonna have surgery to correct this so hopefully should go back to normal.

I don’t typically wake up gasping what happens is as I am about to fall asleep I’ll get chest pain in my lower sternum and I will feel very panicky. This goes on all night if I actively try to sleep. Typically if I fall asleep with out trying (doze off with out realizing) or I am too tired I sleep normal.

I do typically sleep on my stomach with my face facing down and my head rests on pillows . Now the doctor didn’t say it had to be central that is sorta my worry. But it’s mostly cu I don’t snore. But they speculated that I sleep how I do because it may help me breath. Again I have a big tongue and probably thicker skin in my throat

This happened on and off over the past few years recently it has been more common lasting a week or two than going away.

I am a hypochondriac and suffer from health anxiety and read scary things about central sleep apnea. I have a daughter on the way and I am terrified that I’ll just drop dead and that there isn’t a actual treatment 😕

I don’t actually think this is a heart issue, and I do have gerds. Also I am strapped to a heart monitor at the moment anywAy but because I have palpitations not related to this. So if it is related should show up in the results
