I have a pressure of 13, I should have put that in the original post sorry, and have tried most every mask. Not sure about Swift FX or F&P Brevida but I have tried the AirFit P10. Are all of these nasal masks? I am a mouth breather, so the nasal masks are hard for me to use. I have tried the chin strap, but it seems that my chin fights them to the tune of the overnight study tech.using two straps, and my mouth still fought them and opened. LOL I have been known to be a bit stubborn....lol but that I thought was a bit funny but rather disturbing that it didn't work.
I have have many attempts at using a Bipap/Cpap but have recently deleted all narcotics from my pills so am back to just the Cpap again. I have failed at all the attempts to use the machines due to the dimples in my face. I have such deep dimples around my eyes, nose and mouth, that it is almost impossible to find a mask that will fit to cover these and not leak. My insurance company has taken my machines away for non-compliance about 4 times because I could not meet the 4 hour required usage time at night. I know I need to use this, and have tried everything to make this work, but can only make the liners work for a week brand new, and then they get stretched to so they can't be used to fit around my dimples anymore, but it is too soon to order a new liner to replace them. I am disabled and have Medicaid and Medicare ins to pay for this, but neither of them will pick allow me to order a new liner more often than one every month. Any ideas to help me????
