Medical Devices to Address Chronic Insomnia

I have struggled with insomnia my entire life. It has gotten worse since being diagnosed with sleep apnea. I have the apnea under control but have had to resort to medication to treat the insomnia. I have tried hypnosis, brain mapping and homeopathy with no success.

Recently, I learned about 3 devices that are supposed to facilitate better and longer sleep. Cereve, Fisher Wallace and Ebb all make a device that is based on cooling the frontal cortex to lengthen the time you sleep. Has anyone had success with any of these devices? Any feedback is appreciated.
