Any idea why the Advil PM would help? I know when I take it, it knocks me out and I am kind of loopy in the AM after I do wake up. Could it be that your sleep isn't sound due some irritation or other issue and the sleep inducing quality of the aftermarket drug keeps you still during those times? This would definitely be a talk with doc moment for me as I wouldn't really think the Advil PM would be a great long term solution.
I wouldn't think this a long term solution...the active sleep ingredient is a form of benadryl (I think) and will have a lessening effect as you go forward...might work for a while but will become less and less effective...you need to make sure you are not having overly excessive air leakage and continue on with your therapy, since often, simply time will help take care of these problems................madjack
Benadryl is one of the drugs not recommended for the elderly. They metabolize the drug more slowly, therefore the side effects last longer and can be the cause of a devastating fall.
