Any suggestions? I am almost thinking of a bed that I can pull my side away from his when the movement gets to be too much!

We ended up using separate twin XL beds pushed together so we could each use our own adjustable baseā€”helped a lot with the leg jerks. Also had success with memory foam to reduce motion transfer. While we were furniture shopping for our kids, we came across some unique kids bunk beds that had surprisingly good noise isolation, so maybe something like that with solid wood could work in a pinch too.
