Yeah even the starting pressure, i cannot breath against it, it makes me want to breath out of my mouth, i am using a nasal pillow mask, but i ordered one for the mouth and nose, since i tend to alternate sometimes.
I don't know how people do it, i just can't stand it. I try and i try, and this is before i lay in bed. Haven't even made it to that point yet.

I appreciate your problem. But would like more details. What machine are you using? What pressures are you using? Is the problem only that you are routing air out your mouth? If that's the case I used to have that problem at a pressure of 18. To stop it I just stopped my CPAP, reset my mask, then restarted it. Long term I utilized the tongue on the roof of the mouth trick which closes off that path.

It is hard and (I hate to say it) but some people just can't adjust. Give it more time, talk to others if possible but know that there are other options you can try if you just cannot make it work. First though, I would work with your sleep doctor to see if they can help with pressure, mask, fitting, answering questions.
