Hi everyone!

I apologize if this has been covered - I searched the forum and couldn't find an exact answer. Can anyone shed some light on what brand/size SD card they're using? I have the Airsense 10 autoset and naturally ResMed is saying to buy their sd card in lieu of one from say Target/Walmart. I don't think it's necessary to use their brand sd card but I also don't want to be wrong and screw up my $600 investment (I had to go out of pocket). Any guidance is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I thought I had posted this AM but I guess it didn't go through. ResMed cards have most of the info missing unlike commercially available cards. The cards are type SDHC and the larger/old type that is about twice as large as the current offerings. The size is called the "form factor" and the one used in the ResMed machine is 32x24mm (the biggest). If you can find an original SD card, the ones used in the ResMed reader are that size BUT the SDHC have a higher capacity than the original. Since ResMed has disguised capacity, suggest the largest you can get; perhaps 32gb.

See the wikipedia article at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#SDHC

The ResMed card is clearly marked SDHC.

Thank you, wiredgeorge. Do you have a brand preference though? Resmed claims I should use their card but I think any brand would work?
