Does anyone else have a problem with the little holes around the connector elbow of the AirFit 20? This is a different elbow than on my other hose. I read that the holes are to help remove air that is expelled from our nose, but it appears that air blowing into the mask is escaping through the holes and my machine registers that my mask is leaking. The mask has a tight fit and i'm sure it's not leaking, but I can hear the air escaping through the holes on the connector elbow. Any help appreciated.

Hi Mutt,
I think the air leaking from those holes is normal and not usually very noisy unless it is obstructed or deflected by nearby things like bedding or arms etc.
The leaking that your device registers is most likely occurring later in the night when you have partly dislodged the mask or have your mouth not fully closed. (Presuming you are not using a full face mask.)
Checking your mask strap positions or tensions and perhaps even adding a chin strap to stabilise the mask straps could help.
Having a slippery pillowcover can also help prevent dislodging the straps during the night..
I also trim my hair quite short to prevent the straps from sliding with the hair.
