Howdy, y'all I'm a veteran user of CPAP it's quite helpful i must say .... however, it's also a bit of hassle to go to bad every day with that hose stacked to my nose .... I recently saw that ad about COAP (= Continuous Open Airway Therapy), i was wondering if anyone has any experience and can make educated comment about that particularly how it is comparing to CPAP - any thoughts

We had several sleep dentists on this board for quite awhile. The term Continuous Open Airway Therapy is a registered trade mark of a specific company marketing an oral appliance. Oral appliances have been shown to be effective for SOME people suffering from mild to moderate OSA. If you are a CPAP therapy user, you could make an appointment with a sleep dentist to find out if this is an alternative that might benefit you if your preference runs to having a dental appliance used at night rather than a CPAP machine. I doubt many folks can chime in on this specific Continuous Open Airway Therapy because it is company-specific but probably some can talk about dental appliances with first hand knowledge.
