Hello, I'm new to the forum. I read posts and replies on a range of topics before creating my account. This looks to be a kind and caring community, sharing knowledge that is lacking from the clinical phases of my process to date. I hope that my experiences can be of help to others. I appreciate the work of my clinicians, but I've come to believe that patient education and healthy decision-making are best accomplished through the interactions of persons who experince sleep apnea. While I continue with CPAP, I am also pursuing a range of behavioral and environmental changes to increase the quaity and length of my sleep.

Welcome to the forum Marlie. Feel free to ask questions about your CPAP treatment. Sometimes there are easy solutions, and other times it takes a bit more. If you are not sure how your CPAP is working and want to dig deeper I think using software like OSCAR is a good start (providing your machine supports it). Most ResMed and Phillips machines do. If you have any questions about it, just ask.
