I have been on a CPAP machine for years, but recently went with an Air 10 system. With the information given in the daily update I am surprised in the high number of hypopnea events I have. Any ideas how I can lower that number?

Captaindave, I am on a ResMed Aircurve 10 and the reports from MyAir are the same as for the Airsense 10. There is no differentiation between apnea events and hypoapnea events in the report. Where are you getting this information? Different treatment options exist for different types of sleep apnea so if you are experiencing hypoapnea events in excess, this is a matter that needs to be hashed out with a new sleep study and then most importantly, a new titration study.

I have just started CPAP. I also used a chinstrap. My events are 105. It has got to the point where they are very painful and causes spascisity. Has anyone ever heard of this?

105 per hour or 105 for the whole night? and if it for the whole night, how many is it per hour?
