I have had trouble wearing my full face mask because it suctions my face and gets uncomfortable. I don't know if I am putting it on too tight.i tried releasing the pressure and I could feel the air stream well for the first time tonight. But, myAir read I had over 10 episodes/hr. I was having half that with it working improperly.

I am so happy I have found a forum of others with sleep apnea.

I am having trouble keeping it on for at least 4 hrs/night which is what is required by my insurance.

Lorib64, I wear one of two full face masks. Never had any sensation of suction on my face. The pressure from the air seems to cause the soft stuff on the mask to seal but no suction. Your AHI is a bit high indicating something isn't quite right. What is you myair score for your leak rate. It reads L/min. I am not an expert but I found that when my mask leaked badly my AHI went up. It took me some time to figure out how to tame mask leaks. What type mask are you using? Ever found the bottom of your mask in your mouth (from jaw sag)? What are your pressure settings?

I do find that if I have my mask fitted wrong OR the head gear pinches, it is the one thing that gets me awake.
