My new AirSense 10 has a mask type setting with options "Full Face", "Nasal", and "Pillow". What does this control?

I actually use an oral mask (the Fisher Paykal Oracle 452) and don't know which setting to use, or even if it makes a difference. (I can't really see any difference in the machine's behavior with the different settings).

The AirSense 10 provides feedback on AHI and mask leaks. The type of mask is especially important for mask leaks. The oral mask is likely a new innovation and isn't one of the choices for calibrating feedback. I am guessing but I would set the machine on Full Face but that is just a guess. ResMed may have a feedback mechanism as this would be best asked of them.

I have asked ResMed, but so far have only received a "these are the options; ask your doctor" answer. (My doctor, needless to say, does not know what ResMed's particular options mean exactly)

BTW, the Fisher Paykal oral mask is not new. It's been available since at least 2011. It's definitely not for everyone, but has been wonderful for me.
