I have been successfully using CPAP for 10yrs plus, using the Resmed Swift FX nasal pillows.

I recently had to move on into a Resmed F20 full face due to sinus surgery. Now this mask, I cope with it, but get such a rash, it terrible.

I have been told to get the memory foam mask, but I can't find it in my country.

To bring it in from the USA etc, will work out so expensive and I cannot afford too. I already paid so much for the mask as it is.

I was suggested a mask liner, can anyone tell me what material to try and if anyone has a pattern for the F20 so I can try convince a lady friend to make one for me, hoping it will work.

Any other suggestions?

I tried the F20 and gave up on it. I should have tried using the mask liner trick, but I didn't. My issue was leaks that I just could not get rid of, and they kept waking me up.

There is not much to a mask liner, and those that make them tend to use old t-shirts made out of cotton. You don't need much to make them other than a pair of scissors. You fold the fabric over to a double layer and then cut out the mask shape like you would cut out a paper heart, except you need a hole in the middle too. Easier to cut the hole with the fabric folded over. Once you find the shape that fits your mask it probably would be a good idea to make a paper pattern to save time when you make a bunch. Here is a video from RemZzzs who is a commercial supplier of them. It give you a pretty good idea what you need for a shape.
