I use a ResMed AirSense11 and also use O2. I would like to use the climate air tubing but on the AirSense11 there is no way to use the O2 adapter by attaching it right at the CPAP (unlike earlier models) I would have to use the O2 adapter on top of my head where the tubing attaches to my head gear (I use a P30i pillow)
I have tried that but it is far too heavy, pulls on my headgear and my tubing etc. Has anyone heard that ResMed will provide a O2adapter which can be used when using the climate control tubing at the machine or has anyone found a way around this problem. Note that the climate control tubing for the AirSense 10 can not be used with the 11 Thank you.

There are universal inline bacteria filters which go between the CPAP hose and mask hose. I wonder if you could tap in a connection for the O2 to this filter housing. You could remove the filter media so it is really just a connector piece. See this link:

I presume you have been using something like this Adapter but at the machine end of the primary hose? Was there ever a device that also enabled the climate control? I'd be tempted to leave the fittings in the box and just insert the O2 tube directly into the hose down near the machine, being careful to avoid the wires. Seems like another 'don't try this at home' moment.

Thank you for replying. If the adapter is inserted as you suggested the hose cannot be plugged into the machine. AirSense 11 and its climate line have a configeration that doesn't seem to allow for 02 connection at the machine. I inquired at ResMed as to if they were going to come out with a another climate line for the 11 and they acknowledged that connection at the machine could not be done but did not think there would be another hose coming out. Will keep pondering over a solution.
Funny coincidence. My Medical Device Company phone rep told me this week there still is no fitting for the oxygen
for Airsense 11. People that need oxygen have to use the prior model.
