Hello all. I am new to the group and received my cpap machine 4 days ago. So far, so awful! I know that it will take time getting used to it, but I have been experiences severe stomach aches. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi PolitePeach. Some patients do complain of stomach pain while getting used to CPAP. It might be that you are swallowing air. However, I encourage you to talk to your physician to make sure there is nothing else happening. If your symptoms are related to swallowing air, they usually subside once you adjust to therapy.
