I wake up with serious bags under my eyes - lasts for hours.
Thought it was "dry eyes" - I put an eye mask on, and still woke
up with seriously swollen eyes.
I use a SIMPLEX mask that fits around my upper nose. How is this
causing these bags under my eyes ? Does the mask block drainage ?
Yes, I'm trying to find an alternative mask- tried the amara and it leaked
like a sieve at 14 cm. I want to try a RESMED airfit F30 since it seems to
have a better fit around the bottom of my nose.

You are using a full face mask or one that fits around your nose, correct? I don't know about blocking drainage but I think that the mask pulls on the skin around it. When you take it off that skin doesn't go back to the way it was. It could also be that your sleep still isn't good and you are tired. Mine is a full face mask so it also affects the area around my mouth. I have no idea how old you are but at my age I guess some bags and sags are to be expected! But it would be nice not to be adding to them with a mask.
