last night was pretty bad again. So bad that I am lucky to be alive now. There were sequence of events when i could not breeze up to 30 sec. It is now an emergency and i do not know my actions. What steps i should take to stabilize situation? the girl who runs CPAP shop is of not much help. See attached snippet

Hello, I am new here just signed in, started two new threads: 'CPAP for central apnea' and 'small question from CPAP newbe'. Interesting discussions started. Suddenly ~ 1 hr ago my disappeared - I can not see them anymore. I can see the threads and replied to them but not my writings. Did anybody experienced smth. like that? Please find attached. There is n snoring plot - it is empty. I do not snore I think. Pls let me know if something should be different I am just learning. Also note that was pretty bad day othe days are better.

Thanx Bonjour, I just got Resmed 10 Autoset and all it is showing me - CA events. Made me think. Can I actually trust data from Resmed 10 Autoset in characterization of events?

How effective CPAP is at treating central apnea?

My understanding is: obstructive apnea is when tongue or other soft tissues in the throat prevent air from flowing. Central apnea is when act of breathing is not happening.

For obstructive cases CPAP applies pressure from outside and it stops tissues from collapsing - breathing happens.

How does it help for central apnea?

Here is last night's plots. Some plots. I am not yet sure which plots contain meaningful information. You also can see early in the plot I was mostly observing machine's operation, certainly not sleeping.

Not sure if any meaningful comments can be concluded.

Hello, my name is Andrey I am CPAP newbie just trying to make it working for me. I still did not master it to a degree to have a full night sleep, not even close. Few hours a night at best. My apnea is on light side but I sleep very poorly with or without the machine. Hope you guys support me with some advice.

For now a question: events detected by CPAP machine and displayed on Sleepyhead graphs. Are events that machine repaired or events that happened even though machine was working?
