Hi there , I have had my res med 10 for about or close to 3 years. I can tell you I always had good sleep reports. But some where my leak issues gone through the roof. So thinking that's website issue. Some where my machine the pressure seemed to lower all of a sudden and the amount of water wasn't going down like it should. What I figured out is there is a mode called ramp time. If that is set to auto the amount of pressure you receive is all screwed up hence a lower pressure. Check this setting. I changed my ramp time to ten min with a lower pressure setting and now my machine doesn't try to adjust the pressures all night (auto) Gives you the amount of pressure all the time after the ten minutes I set it for. Bottom line if ramp time is in auto change it. Hope this helps. You need to get into the clinical settings to change this. Youtube that to see how. Good luck
Im using the resmed airfit p10 nasol pillow system. Ive never heard of sleepyhead i will certainly check this out im open to any advice and thank you. I dont use my chin strap but this hasnt been an issue with me in 13 years and my numbers have always been good till recent. I will see how this program works as you suggest :)
Hi my name is chris and i have sleep apena. Thank god for this machine. I was a premature baby and didnt get proper oxygen and had this all my life. I cant say enough of the rough journey its been as doctors new there was something with me but what. How ive even survived and over 300 apena per night. At the time i was going through this i was the second case in canada had this problem but no help for me. Dr.kreger tried his best but and doctors in Toronto they all missed the signs i had or were out of the norm. So it wasnt till i was 40 years old they discovered it was sleep apena and felt born again. Its been amazing how many people have this problem some it changes there life and some not. There are times i feel i love the opptunity to be on a show to tell this story so others learn from it and how doctors new nothing of this sleep problem. Im fortunate i had good family and doctor support cause there isnt any help out there when doctors dont no the answer. Im so glad to see a site up and running like this because i was totally alone through this process. One thing i can tell you never give up on hope no matter what. Ive spent my life fighting this where i can honestly say i did lose hope. Between the doctors and god this machine was the last thing i ever dreamed would work. Who ever invented this machine thank you. What im saying here is only a part of what ive been through and thankful they have gotten this far to help others.
Im little confused with my resmed scores. In the last few months my leak issues have gone through the roof. Have nights as high as 50l/min. I was thinking i had a nasal issue. Went and bought a new nasal unit and my numbers have not changed. Yet i know my new mask not leaking like my older unit. Ive check the machine and cant find any leaks. I use this online resmed score all the time and im thrown off big time with my sleeping score. Does anyone have an answer for me. Stressing me getting to the point of buying new machine cause now im guessing if its the site or my machine.
