I just joined the forum. I have had diagnosed apnea for few years but was not good at regularly using my machine. Originally diagnosed with moderate apnea 28 think it was. I just did at home overnight test. Never went back to lab . I got a machine used they are not covered by medical insurance here. Got resmed 9 . Seemed to work ok. But recently was getting strange numbers that made no sense to me. Seemed I could play with pressure and results were not consistent sometimes AHI going way high and sometimes lower . I recently got an resmed air sense 10 auto thinking maybe my old s9 was worn out and maybe not working right.
Now used the new machine for couple weeks. Some weird things going on ... Seeing sometimes lots of CSA and lots of CSR respiration. And having hard time getting consistent osa numbers even if use same air pressure for multiple nights ..
Today got some super weird results Had air pressure think at 8 just cpap not auto and got constant CSR for hour or so that slept but zero clear airway or CSA events !
But got like 60 ahi OSA events !
I recently have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. Might have other issues like CHF not sure yet more tests will have to be done. Just met with cardiologist few weeks ago.
Time before today had lots of CSR and lots of CSA and 18 or so of OSA . Bit lower pressure like 8 less think one for the EPR or whatever it was set at 1
