I started taking 3 mg of melatonin and it has worked for me
My brain fog has gone, however, I do still feel tired all the time and doze off a few times at my desk at work, and as soon as I watch TV
I started out with a CPAP about a year ago, then they put me on a BiPap. My #'s have never been under 5 on either machine!!!!! My Dr made adjustments and put me on a prescription for Restless Leg Syndrome and magnesium. Next step is possibly surgery. When I wen to a overnight sleep study, my AHI was 45. Has anyone ever come across this problem?
I am afraid that the burning will do damage to my throat, other wise I would wear it
My dr. change some settings on my BiPap to treat my central apneas a week ago. For the past four days I am waking up to something wrong in my throat! Not a sore throat but when I take deep breaths it hurts near my larynx. Did this happen to anyone else. I can not get in touch with my dr until Monday, and I am leaving for Friday tomorrow. Will it be ok to not wear the machine until I speak to someone?
Sierra,
Thank you so much!
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in June 2018, since then I have had a sleep study, and home study! I was having 45 events per hour. I was on a CPAP for three months could not get my AHI below a 5, 10, 14, etc. with central sleep apneas. Now I have been on a BIPAP for a month and my central apneas are more, AHI worse. My dr. has done a lot of adjustments and nothing is working. He mentioned a ASV. I am really getting nervous about the AHI' #,s. Are these causing any damage? What percentage of time does a ASV work? What would be next? Just want to be able to function
