Wow, thank you both so much for all your input and experience. I really appreciate when people help out and respond. I just had my second sleep study done- with my CPAP and now I am just waiting for my machine to pickup. I am very excited to use it. How long on average does it take to start feeling it work? Also, have you noticed it was hard losing weight before you had a machine? Did it get easier to lose weight once you got your CPAP? Thanks!
Hello,
I am new-My name is Morgan. I tried to introduce myself on the forum but it seemed confusing. It didn't have a new thread, it just said reply. Anyway, I am 33 years old and was just diagnosed. I have to go back for a second sleep study with that actual CPAP so they can adjust my air and fit my face. I was diagnosed with 30 apneas per hour. I think thats what they say. I am here looking for advice, support, and help. I consider myself young still, however, this past year of my life has been hell. I am tired constantly. I sleep at lunchtime, I sleep when I get home and nothing is never enough. In addition, I've gained 50 pounds and I am thinking its from the apnea. No matter what I do to lose weight, I keep gaining weight. I am so depressed. I hope that I get help and feel better soon. I don't feel like myself at all, and I don't look like myself. Can anyone relate to this?
