I have tried airfit F20 airtouch F20 airfit F30 and the P20. I have the best results with the memory foam airtouch F20. I have 2 cushions and switch each 7 days. I wash the cushion in soap and water with everything else every Saturday. Takes almost 3 days for the cushion to dry fully. Been using the same 2 cushions since July and they are still going strong.

I have Airfit F30 and AirTouch F20 masks. No they are not interchangeable. And FYI the new F30 with my beard forces me to crank the straps so tight my nose hurts and my mustache hair follicles are being pushed back against normal growth direction forcing me to accept that with facial hair the AirTouch F 20 is still tops.

I too have a beard. Been on cpap since July. I have tried nasal masks and pillows but I do tend to open my mouth. So I tried the Resmed F20 Air fit and AirTouch. I am getting the best performance from the AirTouch F20 large averaging 9L/min nightly. I rotate between two cushions weekly. Everything gets a wipe down with a cpap wipe each morning and I wash the cushion along with everything else in the sink once a week. It takes around 3 days for the memory foam to dry fully. As of Nov 14th I will have been using the same 2 cushions for 4 months without replacement. I have modified the headgear with hardhats forehead sweatband to eliminate face creases. This works better than the specialty mask pads commercially available and cost about 1/4 the price.

I agree 100% with Sierra. During the first week (before I had Sleepyhead) I would check the operating pressure during the night. I found out that as soon as I was supposed to be asleep the pressure would run around 8 to 10. So I raised my minumum pressure to 9 and have been happy ever since. Trying to breath at 4 caused me to pull a vaccumn. Very unpleasant. Your life with CPAP is easier when you take control.

UV is known to damage plastics so I might be a little nervous about putting my mask and hose in there. Another thing is you are hoping some magical invisible light or gas will do something for you base on faith and data. We all know soap and water are miraculous in their ability to destroy germs. And another thing, OSA is a growth industry but do you think you could enter the market with a new CPAP machine and masks?? Not too likely BUT hey everybody is a germophobe these days so lets sell them a $300.00 machine and tell them they still have to clean their equipment weekly but this machine cleans everything daily. Buy a second humidifier chamber, hose, and mask then clean and swap at will. By the way how many people have died in the last 30 years from dirty CPAP equipment? If this was a real issue RESMED and PHILLIPS and everybody else would have cleaning machines. Just rinse your humidifier and mask every morning. DO the 30 minute soak once a week. Put your mask on and take a nap and put that $300.00 towards a nice cruise.
