I've given up on the Air Mini. I don't take my cpap machine when I travel. Since my apnea is mild, the doctor said to go to an orthodontist who could make an apnea mouth guard or try making a mouth guard for apnea. The orthodontist made one that I used for a while, till I had some dental work done. Then I bought a do-it-yourself mouth guard for apnea for 30 or 40 dollars and followed the instructions. These seemed to work.
I have had the same reaction to my air mini. I’ve had this for a couple years. Never could use it more than a couple nights. After using it for two nights, i begin sneezing, blowing my runny nose, going through half a box of Kleenex in a day. I tried the nasal pillows, the full nose cover (n20), even got an adapter so I can use my Philips Resmed hose. None of this worked. My brother-in-law has the same machine and has no problem. I had him use my machine for a few nights. He did not have the same reaction that I do. Something inside the machine that I’m allergic to, I guess. $1,000 machine goes back onto the closet shelf.
