It is a Phillips dreamstation. It is set at 20 it is suppose to stay at 20. I put the 20/24 because When I first turn it on it goes to 24 then stays at 20. The last two night for sure it says 20 but I barley have any air pressure in the mask. When first put it on at night it is like the mask will blow off my face but at 4 this morning and last night at 2 the pressure in the mask is next to nothing. This morning I thought to try the ramp option to see what a lower setting would feel like it goes down to ten and will work it’s way up to twenty. The ten part of it is what it felt like at this morning. But I did not adjust it last night. I layer in bed for almost an hour with the same type of pressure. I couldn’t fall back to sleep. At times it was as if it was off. Thank you for the reply. I’m thinking the same thing. Was hoping for an idea to save me a day or two without sleep before the dr is in the office.
I suddenly have been waking up with lower pressure than what the machine says it is running. I’ve just started using it within the last 30 days. I thought it was a seal issue. I’d wake up after four to six hours of sleep and wipe my face and mask. The last two mornings after five hours of sleep I woke up cleaned it filled the humidifier (it was empty but at full line before I went to bed). My setting is 20/24 or just 20. It feels like the mask is blowing off my face at times. But barely feel any air in the mask. It reads 100% seal and at 20 pressure. I cannot fall back to sleep or if I do it is for only minutes. I checked today it started at 20 lots of air. I hit the ramp for the first time and when it was ten that is what it felt like this morning. Any suggestions? I will be calling the dr. As soon as possible but am quickly starting to feel like I did before I finally got this machine.
