Im new to CPAP and the forum. I rather enjoy my cpap since it gives me a much better night sleep. I have actually started dreaming again. Im using my first choice mask an AirFit N10 by Resmed. I was having leak problems but some advice from another forum i belong to helped take care of that. There has only been 2 nights since getting my cpap that i havent slept for 7+ hours.
I cant say exactly from experience since its only been one night but the padacheek liner has made a huge difference in the comfort level of my mask now that i have it adjusted properly. Yes i know about cleaning my face I wash my face just about every day to keep acne and black heads at bay.
I completed the titration stage of my diagnosis on Wednesday of this last week. I have been using CPAP for going on 3 weeks now. I have been checking my data with sleepyhead and dealing with various issues such as leaks and mask comfort. My machine is a ReSmed AirSense 10 Autoset with Humidair Humidifier and ClimateAirLine. My mask is a Resmed Airfit N10. I just purchased a PadAcheek mask liner to help with the excessive leaks i have been having.
I too have been dealing with mask fit issues. I bought a padacheek liner and have learned that if your mask is too tight or too loose you will have seal issues.
i generally read or before i go to bed, however someitmes im just so tired i am able to just go to bed and fall asleep with no problem. If I have alot of thoughts running through my head and cant sleep i write everything down in my journal
Hi i was just dx with sleep apnea been at it for 2 going on 3 weeks. Love my machine but having trouble with mask leaks i just cant squash em.
