Had the same non-adjustable strap which didnt stay put. got a different pillow mask with adjustable lower fabric strap AND adjustable upper silicone strap. had same issues with pillow fit but think new straps have reduced movement of the pillows and thus chafing. had used water-soluble lubricant (yes...K-Y!) on the first one but havent needed it on this newer one. I have a heated humidifier and heated tubing. I increased humidity to near max, got a tubing cozie, all is copacetic! I'm ~ 8 weeks on CPAP and its going better than expected. See your provider until you get the right fit. Update - just found I still have packaging for new mask. It is Swift FX for her for use with ResMed, catalog # 61540. Hope this helps...
