Hi WG, thanks for your reply. I mention my GP cuz she's the one who will refer me to a specialist. I've googled now and years ago when I first read the correlation and thought it was much more common so I thought I'd ask here. It was "suggested" after someone saw my readings from an Ap called "SleepyHead" which breaks down the types of apneas and not due to any other symptoms.
Hi, last week I started back on CPAP therapy after giving up on it about a year ago. I now have fixed settings on BIPAP with heated hose/humidifier of 17/12. The AHI has been hovering around 5.0-6 but I notice, as before, that most of my apneas are clear airway and hypopneas. Someone suggested years ago that it could indicate CHF. Could someone please elaborate on that. I see my GP doctor in 2 weeks for annual physical - is there something she detect if it is CHF or should I bring it up, see a specialist, etc...? Thanks in advance.
