I'd join the letter. It would be a good idea to also send in individual letters. A group letter will show them that the "isolated incident" answer will not work. Individual letters will add pressure. Where should we write to?
I am trying to think of ways to increase humification. I did get to the pint of adding some water to the humidX, worked for a while, probably ruined the thingy? Thinking of adding an outside portable air humidifier? Any suggestions?
I had this exact same problem! I travel a lot and got the AirMini. The first week I used it on a trip was amazing! I was able to solve any noise problems by adjusting the mask better. I did feel a bit of itching on my nose, but thought it was because I needed more humidification. I was in a dry place.
On my second trip, I used the HumidX trying to solve my humidification problem. The first night, I felt an awful smell, my nose started itching, and I started sneezing like crazy. Got postnasal drip (which I haven’t had in years, since I started using a cpap!) and couldnt stop sneezing all week. The second night, I let the air flow for a while and the smell dissappeared. I did continue sneezing during my whole trip. Finished about 3 boxes of kleenex.
I needed to continue using my cpap, can’t sleep without it. I think that the problem was the humidification. I started wetting my nose, and the problem decreased. But I would wake up about every two hours, once I was feeling dry again..
I am back home, using my usual cpap. All problems have dissappeard. I really think that if I solve the low humidification problem, I can make it work.
Any suggestions?
