For the past year my BiPap has been getting louder and louder. It's a ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto BiPap. I’be had it/been using it 2.5 years. I have no clue if it was new when I got it from Apria Healthcare through Kaiser Permanente. It shows 5437 hours which makes me think it was indeed new. Its been hissing more and more all night long over the past year but is now staring to whine like a hurt cat. The noise is coming from he left side near the intake but removing or replacing the filter hasn't helped. Here's a link to a video of it in my OneDrive. Listen to entire 30 seconds to hear the full whine: https://stricklandit-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/zack_zackstrickland_com/EbheaGQvdYhOuwYu9BCE3roBTZ8EeL4HjIJXs2jvCDy3Wg?e=CmnKuG
I have a resmed aircurve10 vauto I have it paired to a myAir account so I can see stats on the app on my iPhone. How much should I really trust that I am getting good sleep from the score? Last night I got a 100 (see screenshot). Anyone have any insight into this?
I am using dreamwear nasal mask pictured here:
let me know what you think. Looks like a lot of leaking.
That helps a ton. I’ll analyze my data with the link you provided and post a screenshot tomorrow.
Here are my current settings: Mode: S IPAP: 25 EPAP: 17 Easy-breathe: on Ti max 3.5s Ti min .3s Rise time: min Trigger: med Cycle: med Mask: nasal Ramp time: 20min Start EPAP 8.0 Humidity level: 5 Tube: slimline Leak alert: off Smart start: off An explanation or recomendations on any of this would be great if anyone has time. Let me know.
Thanks, Zack
I have the aircurve 10 Vauto. I have used this in the default state for months now and it’s the best sleep I’ve ever had. I just now have figured out getting into clinical settings from a YouTube video and want to do a minor tweak to hopefully be able to sleep on my back. Let me know. I am overweight. :)
My airway collapses/snores on exhale if I lie on my back. I use air curve BiPAP. Can I adjust a pressure to help this? Should I try cpap?
