Hello! First week on cpap, first post and struggling to sleep through the night. My unit is an airsense 10 autoset and a full face mask, the "simplus." On the myair dashboard, I can see I generally get 6 hours of use per night, some more, some less. Since this unit syncs wirelessly, is there a way to get more detail on the sleep hours other than the generic data and score on the website dashboard? I get about 2 or 3 leaks per night, but it doesn't tell me when, how close they are together, etc. It report .3 to .5 events per hour, what those hour, when they happen, etc?
Hi Ron, Congratulations on using your equipment and viewing your results on the myair dashboard. A lot of users on this website use a software called SleepyHead to track more detailed information. You can search the forum for SleepyHead or google SleepyHead.

Leaks or lack thereof are given points on the Resmed/myair summary. It explains these points are given based on mask type and the leaks are characterized as L/MIN. I have the Airsense 10 and Simplus full faced mask and routinely get a L/MIN value of around 100 (I have seldom received a single point for low leaks). I use mask pads and think that the equipment thinks my mask is leaking constantly when it does not. Last night's mask seal produced 97 L/MIN but my AHI was .5 (events per hour) . The dashboard tour doesn't explain what L/MIN means... leaks per minute? Liters per minute? In any case, I doubt the value is meaningful since the therapy is working well. I also monitor my O2 levels regularly with a Pulse Oximeter and where the AHI events caused long oxygen drops into the 70s, that situation is now resolved. Not sure if the Sleepyhead software provides a lot of info on mask leaks but for my part, I don't really think it is relevant unless the mask leaks are causing or allowing AHI events to grow more frequent or longer in duration. You can tell if the mask leaks are causing you to not sleep by waking you.
