Hello, I am new here. I have been using CPAP treatment for almost a year now. I use Resmed Airsense 10. Airtouch F20 full face mask. I am 40 in November. I bought a SoClean 2 the other day. I have been so excited to use it instead of having to clean my equipment in the sink some daily some weekly. Well, now I’m just wanting to sell the thing because it has this smell to it and the more research I do on it, the more scared I get. It says that ozone can be bad on your lungs. I have used the SoClean for 3 nights now and the smell is still there. I have changed hoses each night because I can’t get used to it. Does anyone else have this problem with it? The more I dead I am scared of it hurting my lungs. Any advice or experience would be awesome! I am about to sell it and get a lumin.

I just clean my equipment with pure vinegar, then dish soap and water, and finally a rinse with water. I try to do it first thing in the morning so it drip dries before bedtime. Not a believer in the need for the SoClean.

Ozone is very reactive and is not going to last as ozone very long. I would do your cleaning first thing in the AM and let it air out during the day.
