I have a high deductible health plan and was told my CPAP machine would cost me $2000 out of pocket. I went on Amazon to see what they sell for and ended up finding alternatives, such as Anti-Snoring Nose Vents for $10 or so. The one I selected had a 4.5 rating while the CPAP machines has a 3.5 rating. Of course it's all relevant, the higher rating on the vents could be because they are so inexpensive that people don't have high expectations. But it does tell you that these vents must work to some degree if you have that much satisfaction and there are hundreds or thousands of ratings on these devices, not just a handful that may have been rigged. Anyone have experience with these?

I am not familiar with them, other than I am aware of some devices which make it hard to exhale causing the pressure to go up. They apparently help a little in prevent apnea. Have you looked around at pricing for a CPAP on line. Have a look at Second Wind CPAP. They have new and used machines. I would suggest the ResMed AirSense AutoSet is a good machine, and their older S9 Auto machines are pretty good too. The DreamStation Auto is also a good machine. You should be able to get one for well under $1000.

Sierra, I got this 3 days ago, I have used it every night and I can tell you so far I have more energy during the day, I am not napping as much and I don't feel as sleepy, so never be certain unless you have tried something as it's unfair to pretend to know when you don't know. I am linking this, I bought them on Amazon. Comezy Anti Snoring Devices

I am not promoting this product in anyway, there are other brands and sellers of these, I would also think Ebay has these as well. I am just linking this to show readers what this is.
