I have a mask that covers my nose and mouth. After sleeping for a couple hours moisture in the mask whistles through the- I will call them the exhale holes-in the front of the mask and wakes me up. I take a towel and wipe the moisture out of the mask but a couple hours later it whistles and wakes me again. Any ideas. Thank you

The obvious is to try another mask. The holes in masks vary is diameter. I use a Simplus at times and the holes are large. Other times, an Amara View, also a full face and the holes are noticeably smaller and tried a nasal mask that the holes were so small, I couldn't exhale and drowned; couldn't use the mask for more than 20 minutes and it was slopping with moisture on the inside. I am not sure what would happen if you opened up the holes on your current mask a bit but if you get regular replentishment of supplies, you could open the holes on an old and used mask to see if that mitigated the issue. It is kind of balancing act because if the exhaust holes are too large, I am pretty sure the effectiveness of positive pressure would be affected negatively.

wiredgeorge Thanks a lot. I a going to try a different mask. But I do like the idea of experimenting with the mask I have to see if I can make it work for me.

It sounds like your humidity might be set too high. I don't think water should accumulate. What is it set on? Sometimes it may need changed with the seasons. Winter is usually very dry, the rest of the year, not so much.
