Trying to figure out why I wake up during the night.

I have had some trouble recently and am doing better now. But one thing has not changed from before I started using my BiPAP. I still wake up multiple times thru the night. Now I am no longer a walking zombie like I was before. But I still wake up every 1 to 2 hours. I usually can fall back asleep, but not always. Sometimes it’s because my neck is a little sore, sometimes it’s my brain thinks my nasal pillows aren’t fitting quite right. But I feel like if I could figure out this problem I would be at a 9-10 instead of 6-7 out of 10.

I recently was able to get sleepyhead and looked at some of my night. I’m not sure what I’m looking for that could be waking me up. My paeans are normally under 3, I don’t think I have a lot of leak. I’m not sure how to post any of my results here but if someone could tell me how I’ll do so. I’m going to start logging what time I wake up so I can see what’s going on during those times but I’m worried about the process of doing that making it harder for me to go back to sleep. Does anybody know of an app that could make that easy?

So if anybody has any advice or experience with this please any help is appreciated.

One thing I have noticed is if I do happened to not sleep good during the weekend at night and take a nap later I can sleep 2 to 3 hours. For example last night I slept for about five hours, waking up only once. But when I woke up after five hours I got up. Three hours later I lay back down to get some more sleep and slept for three hours and 15 minutes without waking up once. If I don’t get enough sleep during the night and come home from work and want to take a short nap I have to set my alarm clock to go off to stop myself from sleeping too long.

The most useful screen from SleepyHead is the daily screen. On a PC you can save it by just pressing F12. Watch in the bottom right corner and it will tell you where it saves the image. Use Windows Explorer to find the file and then just left click on it and drag it into a message that you have started. Use a full width message so the image will be as large as possible. When you drag it in, it will upload and display with your post.

On napping, in general it is best to try to avoid all napping and do all your sleeping at night. Yes, it can be tough in the short term, but in the long term it pays off with longer sleeps at night.
