Iv been using the Resmed Airsense 10 for almost two years and latterly with just the nasal mask as the full face mask was leaving indentations and not particularly comfortable. The issue I have is the freezing cold air that comes out of it. I can't have my arms out of the duvet because of the draft and my husband can't sleep near me or facing me because of the chill. Does anyone know if you can get anything to catch this draft or if anyone else has similar issues?
Yes, I had that specific issue with a ResMed Swift FX mask. I really liked the mask except for the fast that the vent air was very high velocity and I found it annoying to sleep with. The AirFit P10 mask has a much better vent system that controls the velocity and noise. I now use the P10 mask with the Swift FX headgear.
The other issue could be the heating. Are you using a heated hose? That may also help with the temperature if you are not using it.
Some can get away with using the standard headgear that comes with the P10. I believe it has been improved some, since I bought mine. If you need the Swift FX Headgear you can buy it without buying the whole mask.
