Since The NY Times article last week about the Phillips recall and slow response, I’ve seen a lot of video on removing the potentially toxic foam sound insulation yourself. Then I saw that you can buy a foamless replacement on Amazon. Has anyone tried them? Thanks in advance!

I have a ResMed so no personal experience. I have seen DIY foam removal instructions for the SleepStation machines. Those who do it claim it works. I would worry that it might impact the pressure and flow measurements that the machine uses to control the cpap. But, that is just speculation on my part.
