My 3 year old AirSense™ 10 AutoSet now for the last 6 days turns itself off once to twice a night while I am sound asleep. I wake up feeling like I am suffocating and pull my mask off. I wait about 30 seconds, put the mask back on and it works fine until it does it again. Anyone know what is wrong?

I have not had that happen, but my wife has when she uses the 12 volt to 24 volt DC adaptor when we are camping. I tracked it down to a defective power supply. It seems that it has an overload "protector" built into the adaptor that is defective or set too low. I don't know if there is something similar built into the normal AC to 24 volt adaptor, but it might have. I would also check your power connections while you have the mask on and the machine running. Try wiggling each connection to see if you can find one that might be defective.

I had a problem with the machine turning off, the issue was with the Resmed mask. I was covering the vent holes on the front of the mask, the machine felt it was a blockage within the hose and shut the machine off. There was an error on the screen.
The problem is it is hard to notice the error. The error will display for a while, the screen saver shuts the screen off, when you touch any button to see the machine it clears the error. (poor design)
See if there is an error on the screen. If the screen is shut off, press the home key or the dial button and see if you can see the error disappear.
