I think I have it. Does anyone else here have it and have any ideas for getting rid of it?

I usually get awoken right as I drift to sleep, with a sensation in my head simalir to a thud or a pulsation. It isnt an actual sound, but the physical sensation of a sound, and it always originates from my head

From sleepeducation.org: "Exploding head syndrome can be confused with other headache syndromes. But exploding head is normally painless. Headache syndromes can cause great pain. "

Perhaps you folks don't suffer from the syndrome the OP noted?
