I just got my CPAP machine to help with my sleep apnea. I keep waking up in the middle of the night noticing that I have removed my mask in my sleep. Does anyone else have this issue?

I think lots of people have issues with this at first. When this happens, just put it back on. Eventually you will keep it on all night. It is a nuisance, but one that is fixable.

Hi creature. I had the same problem with removing my mask during the night when I started treatment. It went on for months, but I agree with Ruby. Persistence is key. Just put it back on when you awaken and find your mask off, and hopefully you will continue to build tolerance and will wear the mask longer. If you find this does not get better, consider talking to your physician or equipment provider about whether a different mask might help. Best wishes and please let us know how you are doing!

I'm about 6 months in with my CPAP, from about 3 weeks in to 6 weeks in I'd sometimes wake up having removed mask, but it's not happened for a good few months.
