I am wondering if this ResMed AirSense S10 ordered by my sleep medicine doctor is different from the one, ResMed AirSense 10 autoset? Are they the same? I want the autoset!!!!

The previous generation model of the ResMed was called the S9. The latest model I believe is officially called the AirSense 10 AutoSet, or sometimes A10 for short. I believe some now call the new model the S10, but it is more correctly the A10. In any case your doctor clarified the type of the ResMed as an APAP. See the highlighted area. Insist on a AirSense 10 AutoSet. Make sure the machine has a SD card in it so you can track your results with SleepyHead.

Slight correction Sierra, AirSense 10 is a series that includes everything from a CPAP "brick" to the AutoSet for Her.

with the OP's Rx saying ResMed AirSense 10 followed by APAP should be no problem in getting the AutoSet. David I would suggest that you contact the DME and verify that you are getting a ResMed Autoset or preferably the AutoSet for Her with the additional algorithm that you may or may not use.

The way the Rx is worded is somewhat confusing there is an Air*Curve* 10 S which is a manual bi-level which you do not want You would want the AirCurve 10 VAuto vs the "S" in that case.

I have a Resmed AirSense 10 S BIPAP since Jan 31 as a result of my OP's original Rx. I'm now battling DME, sleep coordinator (go-between) and Cigna to get an AUTO upgrade device. OP has revised the Rx to AUTO BIPAP but DME says there's no code for AUTO BIPAP to send to Cigna. Cigna says get "authorization" from Dr. YIKES!!! To Be continued...

Jeff there is no such thing as a "Resmed AirSense 10 S BIPAP" There is a Resmed AirCurve 10 S and it is not a BiPap, though PR's registered Trademark is often used as a substitute for the correct term Bi-Level. I mention this to avoid confusion with the OP. The machine you want is "Resmed AirCurve 10 VAuto" I believe the code you are looking for is E0562

I think we are starting to split red hairs here, but I would say that the AirCurve 10 S is a BiLevel or BiPap machine, as it can deliver 25 cm of pressure and can split the IPAP and EPAP by more than 3 cm.

Tried various key strokes and dragging image to copy SH Stat report, but didn't work. Using friend's Mac and not sure how to do it. HELP some Mac attacker! Please enlighten me.

AGAIN: I tried to send SH image (like y'all do) using MAC but my Windows PC knowledge/guesswork only got me the above. Is there a MAC attacker hack that can give me keystrokes for SH image transfer? (Note SH version I'm using)

On a PC all you have to do is left click on the image file (not the image), and drag it to an open post here that you are composing. Copy and paste does not work.

How do I get to "image file" on a MAC? I'm a PC guy, so I'm flying almost blind on this darn MAC.

I have a vague recollection of a F8, or Shift F8, or CTRL F8 or Alt F8 possibly doing the image capture on a Mac...
