Thanks again. My CPAP pressured was set to 9 since I have started using CPAP. At the beginning ramp time was 20 min but I changed it to 5 min few years ago with the starting pressure of 5 cm. I use a nasal pillow mask since the beginning and I’m using my CPAP all night every night. No issues so far. All MyAir stats are excellent. Regarding this information I may be a good candidate for CPAP only machine but if the price difference is not significant I may consider an Autoset as well. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks!
Thank you for your comments. Since I start using CPAP it came with the fixed pressure settings, so I don’t have any ideas using an Autoset machine. Is there any way I can guess which is best for me? I use MyAir app every day and it helps me through my treatment and I can’t go without it. Thanks for the link too.
Being on Resmed 10 CPAP machine for more than 6 years, I want to purchase a new machine now. I’m not sure about the price and the insurance coverage but technically is it a good idea to move to Resmed 11? Which type or trim ( Auto, CPAP,…)? Thanks.
It’s a common question to when replace the CPAP equipments. My mask and thermal hose are over 5 y now. I clean them regularly and use So Clean machine every week. My myapnea stats are almost 100%, no leakage and 0 events. I’m totally comfortable with the mask gear and always use 3M tape for mouth closure. Do I really need a new mask? My insurance only covers the Machine not the mask replacement. Thanks
I’m using a Resmed Airsens10 CPAP for over a year now .I tried to see my stats by using Sleepyhead, but my mask leak and AHI are not available after importing the data from SD card to the software, any suggestions?
Can any one suggest a pulse oximeter model to be worn at night?
I need to know my arterial O2 saturation while asleep and using CPAP.
I have just started using CPAP 3 months ago.Its Resmed Airsense 10 with a nasal pillow mask.At the beginning everything went well and I was really enjoying my CPAP therapy with no issues at all.Since last week I am experiencing that I need to volunteerly use my chest muscle to help me breathe while I have started using the mask in the beginning of the sleep.I found that I need to open my mouth to releave some pressure every few minutes. The MyAir App shows too much mask leakage, but actually the tubes and masks are fine.My pressure is set to 9 and ramp time is 20.I had some excellent results at the beginning of the treatment but now I even can’t sleep well and I’m also drowsy during the day.Everything went worse since the last week.Do I have to do anything with the pressure adjustment? Is the pressure high or low for me?
