My S8 humidifier does not seam to work. It’s old. The store I got it from stopped dealing with CPAP stuff. Never thought go contact ResMed. Good luck.
I agree it's a racket. Thousands of dollars on text, clinics and equipment for a thing that i sleep worse with.
Good luck.
I have mild OSA as well. 2 of my brothers have Severe OSA. They have had great success with the use of a CPAP. I have not. I am not sure if this is unique to me or somehting to do with nature of the the conditon.
It keeps my wife up. I sleep worse with it than without. It keeps my wife up. They were very expenisve, especially the new one. It keeps my wife up. The entire process was negative experiance. It keeps my wife up. using it hurts my sinuses, causes my nose to run nonstop and i sneeze excessively. It keeps my wife up. In summary I feel it took a tone of time, cost a lot, hurt a lot with little or no noticble improvements in how I feel. As I think back it was more like 13 to 15 years.
I have had 2 over the past 10 years or so. I have a Resmed S8. I forgot what my older machine model was but it was a resmed as well. I don't them for the following reasons:
Nice. It is difficult to do. I have not really made much progress in the past few months.
I do not like my either of CPAPs at all.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was diagnosed about 15 years ago. I used the CPAP for about 13 years then stopped and tried it again for about 6 months to just stop again about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The best sleep I get and fell the best when I don't use anything.
It really gets my goat to think back on all the money I have spent and time spent on sleep studies, Dr visits, CPAPs, masks, humidifiers, parts....
Sleep2much,
I feel way worse when I use my cpap. Without it I am tired achy bad memory and attention etc. with it I I am all that plus extremely tired with a face broken out and a sore runny nose. Plus the cpap keeps my wife up worse than my snoring.
Have you tried a dental devise? They made me gag.
I empathize with you.
Gotcha, I am familier with that design. When i was using a cpap that is what I used.
