but isn't 2.3 awake/arousel per hour bad? that messes up your sleep cycle big time right? my doctor still refuses to treat me with cpap or anything else. so what about UARS? i go from deep/rem sleep to light sleep more then the average person.
the answer to the question i am looking for for years is if my fatigue symptoms are caused by bad sleep or that it's mentally. nobody can give me that answer and it's killing me inside.
what about the Resmed AirCurve 10 Vauto? is that good for central?
Thanks for your clear information. According to my friends it sounds like my windpipe is closing up, followed by a gasp (i think that's when i wake up briefly). This continues the entire night.
but if it really is CSA then i have a huge problem as the resmed doesn't help me with that at all, i can't believe some so called experts adviced me to buy that device. i dont have the money for a CSA device as they cost up to 1000 bucks.
i am still gonna try it ofcourse (if i ever receive it, DHL lost the package) to see if my AHI increases or not, cause if it increases then you are 100% correct.
Hi,
I don't really believe that i only have central, but that i have UARS and that the sleep study did not measure that during the study itself. CSA indeed is when there is no breathing signal from the brain, but when i sleep my friends can actually hear my breathing get shallow and that i have difficulty breathing, that should not happen if it was CSA right?
test
for some reason my images aren't uploaded, does this work?

having doubts about my PSG sleep study results and the self treatment.
are these numbers really the cause of me feeling sleepy 24/7?
i did this test because i tried everything to make me feel better but nothing works, also my friends claim that when i sleep at night i stop breathing and that it is followed by a gasp for air (i cant remember any of this tho).
The doctors claimed several times that even tho i have mild CSA, that it is not the cause of me feeling so sleepy 24/7 no matter what measurements i take. So i bought a Resmed Airsense 10 and gonna tweak it so it is useful for CSA as well, but i am starting to doubt if it is really worth the try.
any experts here who recognise some patterns and think that it indeed causes me to feel like this 24/7 and doesn't improve no matter what?
what do you mean with 'initial treatment'? English isn't my main language.
Desat index was 4,6/h min O2 was 90% mean SPO2 was 95%
it was a PSG, not a simple at home test.
Thank you, i will use OSCAR for the advanced data but i probably won't understand what i will see. For me the most important thing is if the AHI goes down or not, but i am willing to post the statistics after a good week of using the device (which will probably take some time to get used to).
I hope it fixes my fragmented sleep, in 8 hours i had about 23 brief awake moments and WASO was about 33 min.
